Scared of Santa Pictures

Here is a website with pictures of kids scared by Santa Clause. Actually most of them have scared kids except for the ninth picture. The kids don't look to scared, but I would be if i was sitting on his lap. Looks like he stepped out of the movie "Bad Santa." Link

Ring Around the Moon

Here is a picture I took of the moon with a ring around it. Usually when you take a picture of the moon without zooming in it looks tiny, but with all the haze out tonight it looks much larger.

Thanksgiving Day Program

Here is Ethan at his Thanksgiving day program. Unfortunatly I wasn't able to attend because I have been bumped back to dayshift and was working at the time. From the pictures Becca took of Ethan and the other kids, Ethan looks the most convencing native american. It could be that he is a quarter Cherokee or that he my son and he is the best at everything...probably the later.

Halloween Fun

Ethan had a halloween parade today at school. Ethan is supposed to be Bob the Builder. The costume was thrown together at the last minute. Sorry the picture is kinda blurry but the conditions in the auditorium was a little to much for my little camera. 

Fun at the lake

Me and Ethan enjoying some father son bonding time at the lake. Ethan was really enjoying throwing the rocks into the lake since he gets in trouble for that at home. 

Yellow Day

Today was yellow day at Ethan's school. Every week this month they learn about the different primary colors. He was so proud of the sun crown he made that he insisted that I take a picture even before we got upstairs.

Breadkins Diet

Here is Roxanne enjoying her new Breadkins Diet, the opposite of Atkins. As demonstrated by Roxanne's plate, Breadkins lets you eat all the rolls, mashed potatoes, and gravy you want. You just have to stay away from the meat. This diet isn't for everyone. You have to be in your teens with a high metabolism and an active life style. And you need a comfortable chair to lay down in for a few hours after you eat so you can enjoy the pain of the bread expanding in your belly. Keep up the good work Roxanne.

Ethan's hair cut.

My prayers have finally been answered. Becca finally allowed for Ethan to get his hair cut. He now looks like a little daddy's boy and not a sissy mommy's boy, jk. Here is a before and after.
 

Ethan's best friends

Ethan loves having his own bed in the new apartment. When he goes to bed he will call for all the dogs and cats to come to bed with him. He calls all the animals his best friends. 

Bumper Boat

Ethan's new motorized bumper boat. It only took him a few minutes to figure out that he could steer the boat with the motor. Then it took about another thirty seconds to figure out how to use the built in water gun that shoots about fifteen feet. 

Dare Devil Ethan

Crazy Ethan doing his favorite tricycle trick, "going fast!" Ethan will go up and down this little hill about ten times a day. 

Let me see your ID

After work today, I had to stop and buy some cigarettes at the gas station down the street. Some times people will card me just out of habit, but the lady tonight thought I was to young to buy cigs and really grilled me about my ID. After a few questions about what was on my ID she got a book from under a counter that helps identify fake ID's. Then she got her manager over to double check. She finally sold them to me, but I don't she was fully convinced. It sure is nice for people to think you are eleven years younger than you really are.

Still love taking naps with the kid. Looks like I need to work on my farmer's tan a little bit. 

The New Car

Another test post from picasa.
Here is our new car. It is a 2006 Kia Specta5. I had to get something better than the Jeep Wangler for Becca and Ethan. This thing has air bags all around the cabin and on the sides of the seats. Much more safe and cooler than the Jeep in the recent triple digit heat.
